A Full Blown Panic Strikes New England As Tom Brady’s House Is Listed For Sale
Just a few days ago Tom Brady signed a new contract with the Patriots that some suggested that he may not have been extremely happy about. To make matters worse, Brady’s Brookline home appears to be for sale. It was listed Tuesday morning as the Patriots got set for a joint practice with the Lions in Detroit.
Via Tom Curran of NBCSportsBoston.com, Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen have listed the home for $39.5 million.
Curran notes, citing the New York Post, that Brady and Bundchen have been looking for houses in Greenwich, Connecticut and in Alpine, New Jersey.
Their current mansion, located in the Brookline section of Boston, was built after Brady and Bundchen secured approval from the local zoning board to build the home.
According to the Boston Herald, the New England Patriots quarterback and longtime supermodel have already lined up a couple potential suitors for the custom-built home and have bound them to non-disclosure agreements.
Greenwich is quite a drive from Foxborough, but not completely outside of the area. If Brady has plans to continue playing for the Patriots, it would not have been optimal for him to sell his home at this time.
Hopefully this is all a hoax or a bad dream but this certainly throws up a few red flags about Tom Brady’s future beyond the 2019 season.
