Video: Tom Brady Thanks Patriots Fans For Their Incredible Support Prior To Super Bowl LV

It is a tough pill to swallow for many Patriots fans, and some will surely be wishing the worst for Tom Brady, but the majority of fans seem to be supporting Tom Brady when he goes up against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Tom Brady showed his appreciation for the support from the Patriots fanbase, even though he’s no longer with the team.

“Obviously, any time you change teams, you don’t know how it’s going to go,” Brady said Wednesday during his Super Bowl media availability. “But I think there’s been incredible support I’ve had from — the team I used to play for, all the New England fans, and I still obviously have a great affection for New England.

“I said the other day, my kids were born in Boston. So I have a lot of love for Boston and all of New England and the incredible support over the years. Again, it was an amazing two decades in my life.”

“I’ll always have a presence in New England,” Brady said. “I have a lot of friends there. It’s just really cool to be able to have that experience in my life, and then again, have my football journey taken me to somewhere else and then come down here and play for a different team but still have incredible support.

As much as it hurts to see him go there is no way I could see myself rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. Tom Brady is the only thing standing in the way of the Patriots being the last team to win back to back Super Bowls, and I would prefer it stays that way.
