Someone Lost A $700,000 Bet On The Patriots Last Night

Last night’s game was one of the most miserable games in a long time for Patriots fans, but one persons night was considerably worse after he laid out 700K on the Patriots. Home underdogs normally cover the spread 80% of the time. Add in the divisional opponent and a home game and Foxborough and those odds are considerably higher, but it wasn’t in the cards last night.

According to BetMGM, one bettor lost $700,000 after the Bills defeated the Patriots 38-9.

The bettor wagered $500,000 on the Patriots plus seven points and another $200,000 on the Patriots’ money line of plus 270.

Had the bettor hit both, the winnings would have been $1,040,000.
