The Patriots have added more depth to the wide receiver position by signing former Indianapolis Colts receiver Dontrelle Inman to a one year deal.
The Patriots have done well to add receiving depth in lately by signing Demaryius Thomas and now Inman and using a first-round pick on Arizona State N’Keal Harry. With Josh Gordon’s future still up in the air and Thomas still recovering from a torn Achilles, Inman will be in the running for No. 3 duties in Foxboro along with Phillip Dorsett. Inman caught 28 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Colts. Inman who is listed at 6’3 gives Brady another tall target to work with and should be a nice fit in the Patriots power offense.
That was fast: The #Patriots are signing WR Dontrelle Inman to a 1-year deal, source said. An intriguing option in the room for the player who had 4 offers.
