Patriots Shutout The Dolphins 43-0 Behind Two Defensive Touchdowns
The Patriots didn’t have any issues winning in Miami this time. Thanks to a relentless defense that combined for 7 sacks and 4 interceptions that absolutely feasted the Patriots will move to 2-0. Stephon Gilmore and Jamie Collins each brought an interception to the house in the 2nd half.
On the offensive side Tom Brady looked sharp going 20-28 for 264 yards and two touchdown passes. Brady also ran one in for himself. The new look offense didn’t need an overly explosive game but was well rounded with Sony Michel running for 85 yards and a score. Antonio Brown was also impressive in his debut and scored a touchdown of his own.
The Patriots will face a banged up New York Jets team next Sunday in Foxborough.
