Patriots Are Favored To Win The AFC East With Jarrett Stidham At Quarterback

Tom Brady leaving New England is a hard pill to swallow, but Buffalo Bills fans and the rest of the AFC may want to pump the brakes on their celebrating of Brady’s departure. In the updated Las Vegas odds the Patriots are still favored to win the AFC East. Buffalo closed some ground but the Vegas oddsmakers still have the Patriots winning a 12th consecutive division title with 2nd year quarterback Jarrett Stidham at the helm. The bottom line is Belichick is still here, and although the Patriots are suffering through their most disheartening free agency losses in franchise history, you never bet against Belichick. The Patriots definetly took a hit in their Super Bowl odds but those too can change depending on what they do at quarterback. Currently the needle still points to a playoff home game and a chance at a playoff run is more than Pats fans can ask for in a rebuilding year without the GOAT for the first time in 20 years.

New England Patriots -110

Buffalo Bills +175

If that news isn’t good enough here are the current odds after Brady announced he was leaving but prior to signing with Tampa. The Patriots are still viewed as the 3rd best team in the AFC. The Patriots dropped from the 5th spot to the 7th and likely 8th after Brady signs with the Buccaneers tomorrow. Still that is not a major drop and there is room to improve.
