Patrick Chung Plans To Return To The Patriots In 2021
The Patriots will be getting one of their longtime defensive stars back next season. Safety Pat Chung plans to return to the Patriots in 2021 after opting out due to the Corona virus.

Chung was one of many key players that opted out on the Patriots last season, the Pats lost a key amount of core players, more than any team in the NFL. The loss of key players on top of everything else had a major impact in the team this season. Chung is due a reasonable salary of $1.1 million in 2021, so it appear the Patriots would be happy to bring him back for another season, and it will allow them to use their enormous cap spending in other places.
