The World Champion Boston Red Sox are hoping tomorrow’s ring ceremony and celebration prior to their Opening Day at Fenway will give them a much needed spark. The Sox also have plans to celebrate the Patriots Super Bowl title but some big names will be missing from the party. According to the Patriots , Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft will not be passing on tomorrow’s festivities. Perhaps they had other plans but it is quite likely they are avoiding the situation because of the longtime feud between Kraft and the Boston Globe that has had a long history of writing anti Patriots propaganda. The Globe is owned by Red Sox owner John Henry.
It is probably all for the best. As fun as a true dual celebration would be tomorrow really should be all about the Sox. The long awaited Opening Day couldn’t have arrived soon enough for the Sox and hopefully being at home will rejuvenate this team.
Set those expectations for tomorrow's festivities accordingly: Robert Kraft, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick are not expected to attend the home opener at Fenway Park. @mutcallahan first ones on it.
