Michael Bennett Has Been Traded To The Dallas Cowboys For A 7th Round Pick

It looks like Bill Belichick has had enough of Michael Bennett’s negative attitude. He shipped him to Dallas this afternoon for a 7th round draft pick. Bennett was suspended a week ago for conduct detrimental to the team and it was a foregone conclusion that his time with the Patriots would be limited. It could become a sixth-round pick if Bennett hits certain thresholds for the Cowboys. Bennett was not happy with his limited playing time in New England. He has 2.5 sacks on just 130 snaps this season. With the Patriots currently dominating, it’s a move that makes sense for both sides and should clear some extra cap space.
