Matt Patricia Has Been Fired By The Detroit Lions

Matt Patricia’s reign as the Detroit Lions head coach has ended, Patricia who was the former Patriots defensive coordinator, is another in a long line of former Belichick disciples to struggle at the head coaching position. Detroit decided to let him go after they lost to the Houston Texans 41-25on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions also released general manager Bob Quinn.

Patricia finished with a 13-29-1 record during his time with the Lions.

With the emergence of Steve and Brian Belichick in the Patriots organization, I would not expect to see Matt Patricia find his way back to Foxborough.
