Malcolm Subban may be the starter for the Vegas Golden Knights tonight vs the Boston Bruins and for the upcoming future as usual starting goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion), was placed on IR.
Bruins management may instantly be facing the consequence, not even two weeks removed, of trying to push Subban through waivers in order to send him to Providence. The 2012 first-round pick by Boston was placed on waivers and was claimed by Vegas on October 3.
A risky move cost the Bruins a talented, possible star on the rise with no return. Vegas jumped at the chance to have him be the back-up goaltender for their inaugural season and now will most likely thrust him into the spotlight as the starting goaltender for the Vegas Golden Knights starting tonight. Bruins will hopefully not regret this decision especially with the Bruins team needing another win!!
Tune in tonight to see #NHLBruins play their first-ever game against the Vegas Golden Knights at 7PM ET.
