Patriots nation has been waiting for awhile now on some official great news from Rob Gronkowski and it could have been today as Gronk was at Gillette Stadium. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to take part in the Patriots’ voluntary offseason workouts, but instead the star TE was there for a Supercross event.
NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry got a chance to speak with Gronk and asked why he wasn’t taking part in team workouts, Gronk offered this: “I’ve got dirt-biking skills to work on.” “[My] status is: Doing really great,” he said. “I’ve been riding dirt bikes, training really hard. I can VROOM VROOM really good. I can ride that bike like no other, and my speed is up there.”
Still contemplating retirement?
“It depends on how my racing skills go today,” Gronk said.
The strange and somewhat funny press conference continues as the reporter tries his best to get some answers in the video below:
Gronkowski was asked if he had anything to say to his fans.
“They’re going to see a freek-a-leek when I come back. That’s what.”
So you’re coming back?
