Gisele Responds To Criticism Over The Words She Used To Console Her Children

As if the Brady’s young daughter Vivian hadn’t had to deal with enough media attention in the past week Gisele Bundchen, now had to respond on Twitter to criticism over her comments to their young children following the Super Bowl.

“Just to be clear. No one “let” anyone win. People win because of their own merit. Tired of people twisting my words to create drama that doesn’t exist!,” Gisele tweeted.
After her husband, Tom Brady, and the Patriots lost, Bundchen consoled their children by saying, “Daddy won five times. They never won before. Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes.’’

Some took offense to this, including Whoopi Goldberg, who believed Bundchen meant New England let the Eagles win.

“I’m sorry. Didn’t the Eagles bust their behinds and earned that?” Goldberg said. “It’s not like Tom Brady said, ‘Shhh. Let’s let them win.’ Na-ah. They beat you. And that happens. So little Tom Brady girl sometimes people lose because that’s what helps to make you better.”

Unbelievable, shut your fly trap Whoppi. Does the media really need to rip into Gisele over what she says to console her 5-year-old daughter? She is a little kid. Some parents prefer not to explain all the ways of the world to their young children. It isn’t like she is some spoiled 14-year-old girl, that would obviously be a different situation. It is nobodies business what they tell their children and Gisele shouldn’t have to explain herself. It is time for the media to back off and let them go about their lives.
