A local high school football team got a nice surprise when Patriots rookie defensive end Chase Winovich showed up to give the team a rally speech. The Franklin High School football team got whipped into a frenzy by the fiery rookie prior to their quarterfinal playoff game. I’m sure Winovich could fire up anyone in any situation. This man is pure energy. This will certainly be a memory the team will remember for the rest of their lives, and it helped them go on to win the game 14-0.
Winovich left some wise and influencing words that helped lead to the shutout.
“You take from them everything. And when they move, you smash them,” Winovich said, with the team promptly erupting.
