A Horrible Collision During Today’s Bruins Game Left The Crowd Stunned
A freak accident left the crowd stunned at the Garden today when Ottawa Senators Scott Sabourin collides with David Backes. Sabourin fell to the ice unconscious reminiscent to Apollo Creed in Rocky IV and was down on the ice for nearly 10 minutes before being carted off with very little movement. The incident was so emotional David Backes had to leave the game and went into the locker room. Many fans and players were in tears over this horrible moment.
The latest report is that he’s awake and moving all extremities. It doesn’t look like Backes will return to the game.
